Every land animal owes its existence to the ancestors who escaped on the ark

Two of every kind

This website will describe the options and ways animals can survive from a scientific point of view

The Flood is primarily a biblical story described in the Book of Genesis. However, despite the many interpretations of the event in many parts of the world, a number of questions remain. And the main one is: "Could animals survive?"

(Genesis 6:15)

«And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits»

The average size of the animals, was equal to a sheep

Each such railway wagon accommodates 240 sheep

railway wagons
The volume of the ark equals the volume of 522 rail wagons

So the ark could hold more than 125 000 individuals
125 150
(Genesis 6:16)
Why didn't it happen?
air circulation
It is known that a window was made at the top of Noah's ark for ventilation
Sceptics consider Noah's voyage impossible, saying that the bundle of animal waste would collect gases in the boat and this would lead to suffocation or an explosion
«You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above…»
(Genesis 8:3,4)
How was animal waste cleaned up?
waste collection
Either the waste on the ark was removed with worms —vermicomposting
Some absorbent materials such as sawdust, shavings and peat may also have been used
«And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated…»
Perhaps ark had sloping floors. The dung fell down and washed into the water

The animals were on Noah's ark for longer than a year. For this reason the following question arises

(Genesis 6:19–20)
«And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive»
genus=family
animals
It was necessary to take two individuals, and  they would spread  over the whole earth, coming down  from Noah's ark
Horse family (lat. Equus)
The biblical word «genus» is equal to the concept of «family» in the animal classification of the present
Quantity
Every creature for a pair, so there must have been only 16 000 on the Noah's ark
John Woodmorapp counted some 8 000 genera, including, among others, extinct animals
The cubs (lat. Catulus)
outside the ark
Family Iguanas (lat. Iguanidae)
Noah did not need to find a place for fishes, softbodied, echinoderms, larvae, coelenterates, protozoa and those that could survive outside the Noah's ark
The cubs
Once on land, they'll have more offspring
The canine (lat. Canidae)
The felines
The felines (lat. Felidae)
38 living and 36 extinct cats descended from her: domestic, stray and sabre-toothed tiger
The canine
Add to this list coyotes, wolves, dingoes, jackals, extinct Hesperocionines and borophagines, and by new research on foxes
There were no lions or tigers on Noah's ark. Instead there was one pair of the genus
The dog genus has an enormous variety of shapes and sizes. Think of the tiny Maltipoo and the huge Great Dane
The feline family (lat. Felidae)
It was also logical to take the babies on board the ark, who took up less space and did not need mother's milk
This is a sensible move first and foremost because:
The cubs survive the stress of being on the ark more easily
(Genesis 6:21)
Less than 10% of the volume was enough for drinking, plus they could collect rainwater
nutrition
10%
«And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to yourself; and it shall be food for you and for them»
15%
We already know that the ark could hold more than 125 000 individuals, while it only needed to take 16 000. So there was enough space on board to accommodate food. There is also a theory that Noah could have used grain, hay and pressed fodder
Wurdomappus estimated that the food collected was only 15% of the total volume of the ark
(Genesis 8:16,17)
«Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sonś wives with you. Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you: birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth»

Surviving a global flood for 150 days is as real as and rejuvenating all life on earth

conclusions
After studying information about the world flood from 250 different ancient cultures, many studies and calculations have been carried out by scientists. These are the proof that...
The Flood is primarily a biblical story described in Genesis. Tales of the Flood are also found in many religious and mythological texts around the world
